Intentio Trailer - A Brazilian Surf Movie by Loic Wirth

We checked out the trailer on Vimeo and are really excited. The trailer has a very moody feeling with naration by Vernon Deck and shows some great surf footage. The various beaches look awesome, with the film apparently being shot all over the world, including New Zeland, Uruguay, Indonesia, France, Hawaii, Brazil and California.

Surfing has been included from Marco Giorgi, Cristian Muller, Gabriel Medina, Craig Anderson, Fernando Moura, Jean da Silva, Jeronimo Vargas, Gabriel Muller, Ricardo Santos, Ian Gouveia and Chippa Wilson so should give us some great free surf video.

Loic, speaking in broken English gives a great account of himself as he talks about his “project” telling how he travelled around the world working for other brands and shooting the various scenes for his film, which is still being edited, when he was at a good surf location with his friends.

Last year Loic made a name for himself when he won a section in Innersection with a short peice featuring a young Uruguayan surfer and in the process beating competing surf videos including Kelly Slater and Joel Parkinson.

When we tried to find out how we could get hold of the movie once it was edited Loic didn’t know. “I have nothing certain yet. I love the idea of a DVD, rather than a download, but I also like putting online for free. I guess I would love to do both.” well here’s hoping, we can’t wait to see it whether it is a DVD or available online.
