Dakar Slide on men’s flip flops

When you say "Dakar" to most people they tend to think of the Dakar Rally. This rally was, since it started in 1978, from Paris to Dakar. But, for the last few years, because of security concerns in Africa, the rally has been in South America. With the 2011 rally racing from Buenos Aires (sometimes known as the South American Paris) on the far east coast of Argentina across the Andes to Arica in the furthest North West corner of Chile and then back again, a cool 6,000km!

The straps are made of two unique materials that combined give both extreme durability and amazing comfort. The softer material on the inside of the straps is both very comfortable against your skin but also has a natural grip which keeps the flip flops on your feet.

The sole of the flip flops has a stippled base which gives a cushioning effect and allows air to flow freely under the sole of your foot, keeping your foot dry and comfortable. The instep of your foot is supported by a raised bed which is critical to keeping your feet healthy and providing comfort when worn all day. Flip flops without a raised instep are notorious for making your feet ache when worn for extended periods.
